Best trail magic

A guy rolled up while we were resupplying and asked us if we needed anything. He thru hiked the trail in 2001. His young kid was sitting in a car seat in the back.



Switchback told him we could use a ride to the beer store for a few beers. He asked what we wanted and we replied budwieser would be perfect.




He peeled off and returned with the picture below. We tried to give him some money and he would not accept it. Before leaving I asked him what his trail name was in 2001. And he confinitely relied swamp ass. What a great day.
